Silica and horn manure are also added to the soil to promote healthy vine growth. Today, the estate is managed by the sons, Nicolas and David Rossignol.

Rossignol-Trapet Estate

Character and know-how

Nicolas and David produce absolutely remarkable wines that have gained in purity and elegance over the years. The harvest at the estate is done entirely by hand, and the crates are perforated to prevent any crushing of the grape bunches.
The wines are vinified gently, with destemming varying from 60 to 100% depending on the vintage. The wines are clarified without fining or filtration. Once in barrels, the wines remain for between 12 and 20 months.
