Etna Rosso

Etna Rosso is a Sicilian Denomination of Controlled Origin (DOC) since 1968. The appellation is located on the slopes of Mount Etna. The vineyards grow at altitudes between 400 and 1100 meters and benefit from the cool mountain breezes. This high altitude allows the vines to enjoy a cool and humid microclimate. The vineyards are planted on the basalt of the volcano, which contributes to the unique character of this exceptional terroir. The red wine is composed of 80% Nerello Mascalese and 20% Nerello Cappuccio.
