    Owner and history

    The vines at Château Margaux are cultivated with the utmost care, entirely by hand. The grape varieties typical of the Médoc are used, with a majority of Cabernet Sauvignon. The vines used for the grand vin are at least 20 years old. A team of 200 grape pickers is required to ensure a successful harvest each year.

    Vinification and aging

    The wine is aged for one and a half to two years in new oak barrels with approximately 7-8 rackings.
