Vinification and aging

The winemaking process for the 2018 Cornas Le Village is carried out with care and precision. The grapes are destemmed and crushed before being placed in vats for alcoholic fermentation. Maceration lasts several weeks, allowing the aromas and tannins to be extracted from the grapes. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 12 to 18 months. This stage allows the tannins to soften and the wine's aromas to develop greater complexity.
