Barolo Villero comes from a prestigious vineyard located on the Villero hill, considered one of the highest quality crus in the Barolo appellation. The Villero terroir is characterized by limestone and clay soils, offering optimal drainage and ideal sun exposure. These conditions allow the Nebbiolo grapes to reach perfect ripeness, developing remarkable aromatic concentration and complexity. climat The region's climate is continental, with hot, dry summers and cold, wet winters, promoting a slow and gradual ripening of the grapes.

Vinification and aging

The winemaking process for Barolo Villero is carried out with respect for tradition. The grapes are harvested by hand and rigorously selected. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with a long maceration to extract aromas and tannins. Aging then continues in Slavonian oak barrels for several years, allowing the wine to refine and develop its complexity. Barolo Villero is bottled after this extended aging period, unfiltered, to preserve its authenticity and unique character.
