    Vinification and aging

    The winemaking process for Vietti's Barolo Lazzarito is carried out with meticulous attention to detail. The grapes are hand-harvested and rigorously selected. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with extended maceration to extract aromas and tannins. Aging then continues in oak barrels for a period that varies depending on the vintage, in order to refine the tannins and develop the wine's aromatic complexity. Before bottling, the wine is lightly filtered to preserve its purity and expression of the terroir.
