The vineyards of Vignobles Brunier extend over the sunny slopes of the Bekaa Valley, a terroir renowned for its clay-limestone soils. Grapes grown on the foothills and within Mount Lebanon itself, at an altitude ranging from 1,200 to 1,600 meters.

    Owner and history

Massaya embodies the very essence of contemporary Lebanon. Through the quality of our wines, the authentic flavors of our cuisine, and the warmth of our hospitality, we convey a message of refinement, joy, and welcome. Although we relied on the experience of our two French partners – Hébrard in Bordeaux and Brunier in Châteauneuf-du-Pape – We are first and foremost Lebanese winemakers. Our ancestors and our land are our source of inspiration. One of the finest examples of our art is the Temple of Bacchus, erected on the impressive Roman site of Baalbek. While our Phoenician ancestors mastered viticulture and winemaking very early on, making Lebanon a cradle of wine, this temple remains a tribute to the importance of the vine in our culture.

    Vinification and aging

The vinification of the 2019 Massaya Blanc is carried out with meticulous care. After the grapes are hand-harvested, they are gently pressed to extract the juice. Fermentation takes place at a low temperature, thus preserving the delicate aromas of the grape varieties. Aging occurs in stainless steel tanks to maintain the wine's freshness and purity. This method results in a wine of great finesse, where each sip reveals the richness and complexity of the Lebanese terroir.

    The team's opinion

The Massaya Blanc 2019 offers a beautiful harmony between freshness and complexity, an invitation to explore the nuances of Lebanon.
