Le vignoble du Domaine des Tourettes est implanté sur des coteaux escarpés, bénéficiant d'un ensoleillement optimal et d'un sol riche en argile et calcaire. Ces conditions exceptionnelles favorisent la maturation lente des raisins, permettant d'obtenir une concentration aromatique unique. Les vignes, souvent âgées de plus de 30 ans, sont cultivées avec soin, respectant les principes de la viticulture raisonnée. Ce terroir, véritable écrin pour la Syrah, confère aux vins une minéralité et une profondeur qui les rendent inoubliables.

Owner and history

The "Domaine des Tourettes" vineyard, in the Hermitage appellation, extends across three communes in the heart of the Drôme: Tain-l'Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, and Larnage. This cuvée is thus made from a blend of three parcels named "l'Ermite," "le Sabot," and the prestigious "Bessards" terroir. The 134 hectares of Syrah flourish on soil made up of granitic sands covered with mica schist and benefit from plenty of sunshine.

Vinification and aging

- Manual winemaking, terroir by terroir, at optimal ripeness
- Pre-fermentation maceration lasting 2 days
- Traditional winemaking in concrete vats
- Aged in oak barrels (new and one-year-old) for over a year
