Franc de pied is ideal with beef tartare, turkey with morels, or game. Serve it at around 16°C after opening for at least an hour.

Owner and history

Franc de Pied comes from a sandy terroir that gives the Cabernet Franc its distinctive character. The vineyard is entirely cultivated biodynamically. The name of the cuvée refers to the vines, which have not been grafted and are therefore "ungrafted".

Vinification and aging

- Manual harvesting and sorting
- Fermentation in oval vats and maceration for 8 to 10 days
