Owner and history

Located in the heart of the renowned Côte de Nuits, Clos Vougeot is one of Burgundy's most iconic vineyard sites. Its limestone and clay soils impart unparalleled finesse and minerality to the wine. Domaine Faiveley cultivates its plots with meticulous care, favoring sustainable and environmentally friendly methods to enhance this exceptional terroir and reveal its full richness.

Vinification and aging

At Domaine Faiveley, the winemaking of Clos Vougeot 2023 relies on expertise passed down through generations. Fermentation takes place in tanks, preserving the purity and integrity of the fruity aromas. Aging, which lasts 16 to 18 months, occurs in French oak barrels, with a carefully selected proportion of new oak. Each step is meticulously executed to give the wine aromatic richness and a balanced structure, ensuring remarkable aging potential that will enhance its qualities over the years.
