    This Cabernet Sauvignon displays a deep, intense ruby color. On the nose, it exudes complex aromas of blackcurrant, plum, cedar, and sweet spices. Together, they ensure the preservation of the heritage of domaine while exploring new ways to improve wine quality and promote sustainable practices.

    Vinification and aging

    The vinification of Cyril Henschke Cabernet Sauvignon is carried out with meticulous care, aiming to preserve the integrity of the fruit and best express the terroir's potential. The grapes are hand-harvested, rigorously sorted, and destemmed before being gently crushed. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with extended maceration to extract tannins and aromas. Aging continues in French oak barrels, some of which are new, for an extended period, allowing the wine to refine and develop its complexity. Before bottling, the wine is lightly filtered to preserve its purity and elegance.
