Owner and history

The La Landonne cuvée comes from a precious plot of just 0.4 hectares, located in the heart of the Côte-Rôtie appellation. Planted on steep, south-facing slopes, the Syrah vines, approximately thirty years old, benefit from optimal sunshine, promoting perfect grape ripening. The exceptional terroir of La Landonne is distinguished by its soils composed of schist and clay, giving the wines remarkable minerality and aromatic depth.

Vinification and aging

The harvest is carried out exclusively by hand, guaranteeing a careful and respectful picking of the grapes. The grapes then undergo meticulous sorting to retain only the highest quality berries. Finally, the wine is aged for approximately twenty months in oak barrels, imparting complexity and elegance to the vintage.
