    Notes and pairings

    Tasting notes

The 2023 Richebourg Grand Cru from Domaine Anne Gros captivates with its deep, garnet-hued color. The nose is intense and complex, revealing aromas of violet, black cherry, and fine spices. On the palate, the attack is both powerful and silky, supported by fine tannins and a majestic structure. The remarkably persistent finish evokes the mineral freshness of the terroir and the refined elegance of Burgundy's finest Pinot Noirs.

    Food & wine pairings

This great wine pairs wonderfully with a beef Rossini fillet, a truffled chicken or a cep risotto.

The Richebourg Grand Cru vineyard stretches across the most prestigious lands of Vosne-Romanée, on clay-limestone soil rich in iron and other minerals. The vines of Domaine Anne Gros draw their depth, complexity, and mineral character from this soil. Cultivated with precision and respect for the environment, these parcels produce grapes of exceptional quality, a true reflection of an elite terroir. This emblematic parcel offers immense aging potential and a nobility that reveals itself with time.

    Owner and history

Anne Gros has managed the family estate since 1988 with unwavering dedication and exceptional sensitivity. An agricultural engineer and oenologist, she has instilled a refined, elegant, and precise style into each of her wines. Recognized by international critics, she is now among the most influential winemakers in Burgundy. Her vision: to elevate each terroir, respect the environment, and offer wines that are profound, approachable, and timeless. This strong commitment has propelled the estate to the forefront of the Côte de Nuits.

    Vinification and aging

At Domaine Anne Gros, winemaking is based on rigorous traditional methods and a contemporary vision of refinement. The harvest is done by hand, followed by plot-by-plot vinification in wooden or stainless steel vats, depending on the profile of the cuvée. For the 2023 Richebourg Grand Cru, aging continues for 16 to 18 months in oak barrels, a portion of which are new and perfectly integrated, bringing depth and elegance without masking the fruit. The result is a harmonious, precise wine of great clarity of expression.
