Le Mazoyères-Chambertin Grand Cru is located on the Côte de Nuits, in Burgundy. The Mazoyères-Chambertin terroir is renowned for its complex soil, composed of calcareous marl and gravel. This type of soil promotes good drainage and a regular water supply to the vines, thus contributing to the quality of the grapes. climat The climate is continental, with hot summers and cold winters, allowing for slow and optimal ripening of the grapes. The vineyards have an ideal exposure, maximizing sunlight exposure.

Vinification and aging

The grapes are harvested by hand to select only the best bunches. Winemaking is carried out with great care, respecting Burgundian traditions. Fermentation takes place in vats, with maceration lasting for a period that varies depending on the vintage. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels, a proportion of which are new, for an undisclosed duration. This stage allows the tannins to soften and the aromatic complexity of the wine to develop. The wine is then bottled and aged for a few months before release.
