    THE domaine It is located in the heart of the Franciacorta production area, near the centuries-old hamlet of Calino. Vines have been cultivated here since time immemorial, in this prestigious wine region. Some even claim that the name "Franciacorta" originates from the expression "Little France," an affectionate nickname supposedly given to it by Charlemagne.

    Owner and history

    THE domaine Montenisa is located near the hamlet of Calino, close to Lake Iseo, in the heart of the Franciacorta appellation. The vineyards surrounding the Maggi family villa are central to the production of the Marchese wine. Antinori Franciacorta since 1999.

    Vinification and aging

    The must fermented partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in oak barrels. The second fermentation took place in the bottle, and the wine remained on its lees for 60 months before disgorgement.
