From family union to recognition

Born from the union between the Chavy families (Puligny) and Ropiteau (Meursault), the domaine It was built thanks to several respected generations. Until 1982, the grapes were sold to merchants. Only then Hubert Chavy launched the first vintages under his own name.

With a high density (≈10,000 vines/ha) and aged 40 to 70 years or more, these vines promote a high aromatic concentration, reinforced by low yields (20–35 hl/ha).

Sustainable agriculture
