The vineyard of Château Suduiraut The vineyard is situated on clay-limestone soils, ideal for cultivating noble grape varieties. The proximity of the Garonne River creates an ideal microclimate, promoting the development of noble rot, essential to the production of Sauternes. The vines, some several decades old, are cultivated with care, resulting in grapes of exceptional quality. Yields are carefully controlled to ensure the concentration of aromas and flavors, reflecting a unique terroir.

Currently, the Château Suduiraut is the property of the Lur Saluces family, who watch over the domaine with passion for several generations. Their commitment to quality and sustainability is at the heart of their management. The family has preserved its winemaking heritage while integrating modern practices, thus guaranteeing the excellence of its wines. Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Suduiraut It is a meticulous process, combining tradition and innovation. After a manual harvest of grapes at optimal ripeness, they are gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in oak barrels, where the wines can slowly develop. Aging in barrels lasts approximately 18 months, during which the wine develops its complexity and character. The blending is carefully crafted, aiming to capture the essence of the terroir and offer an authentic expression of the vintage.
