Côte de Brouilly

It is on these granitic and volcanic soils that the great wines of Beaujolais develop. The Côte de Brouilly appellation, produced from a single grape variety, Gamay, offers us ruby-red wines, full-bodied, with peppery notes and aromas of flowers such as violet. This age-worthy wine will be a beautiful addition to your cellar if you wish to invest in wine. Available at Cavissima.

The Côte-de-Brouilly appellation is one of the ten Beaujolais crus . It straddles four communes in the Rhône department: Quincié-en-Beaujolais, Cercié, Saint-Lager, and Odenas. This AOC takes its name from its location: it covers a large part of Mont Brouilly. Only red wines are produced here, with an intense color and aromas of red fruit and spiced cherry, and good aging potential .

Domaine des Terres Dorées

Domaine des Terres Dorées is located in Charnay-en-Beaujolais, not far from Villié-Morgon. It is managed by Jean-Paul Brun, who practices sustainable viticulture with techniques reminiscent of organic farming. The estate cultivates 44 hectares of vines , a very large area in Beaujolais , and sells its wines under the Fleurie, Moulin à Vent , Morgon , Côte de Brouilly , Saint-Amour , and Beaujolais appellations . In addition to red and white wines , they also produce a sparkling rosé .

Uniquely in Beaujolais , Gamay and Chardonnay are not the only grape varieties cultivated : at Domaine des Terres Dorées you will also find a little Pinot Noir and Roussanne .
