Flowery

15 項產品

Cultivated by 150 professionals, Fleurie wines draw their intense carmine-red color and floral and fruity aromas of iris, violet, rose, red berries, and white peach from the pink granite soil. Their taste combines elegance, finesse, and a full, silky texture. Developing spicy notes with age, this wine benefits from the unique geography of the site, nestled against the Avenas, Durbize, and Labourons mountain range. The appellation, which refers to a Roman legionary rather than any particular bouquet, boasts 13 distinct climats, each producing its own characterful wine, including Madone, Grille-Midi, La Chapelle des Bois, and Champagne. The Fleurie AOC is entirely contained within the commune of the same name. Facing southeast and dominated by the Chapel of the Madonna, it offers a magnificent panoramic view of the surrounding vineyards. The majority of the vineyard is planted on sandy soil.
This appellation is often considered the most feminine of the 10 Beaujolais crus because it produces fine and elegant red wines with aromas of flowers and fruit.
