Domaine Faiveley thus possesses a collection ofGrands Cruson 13 hectares andPremier Crus(30 ha) notably in Corton, Corton Charlemagne, Gevrey-Chambertin, Nuits-Saint-Georges and Chambolle Musigny.

If the domain was established byPierre FaiveleyIt has evolved considerably under the influence ofGuy Faiveley(to whom we owe the creation of the Knights of the Tastevin). But it isErwan Faiveley, the 7th generation, now manages the estate. A man of few words, Erwan is a visionary and likeable individual. Like a general, he has surrounded himself with a team of top professionals and is patiently and methodically transforming his estate, modernizing it and adding new plots year after year. Since 2010, theFaiveley estateexpanded toGevrey-Chambertin(Dupont Tisserandot), hasMusignyand recently toChablis(Billaud-SimonThe investment made atMercureyis simply sumptuous: there is no doubt that the estate will also expand its vineyard in this part of Burgundy.

The wines of the estateFaiveleyare simply delicious, both white and red. The Mercurey wines from La Framboisière arejuicy,crunchyAndgourmandsas desired, while the wines of the Côte d'Or and the Côte de Nuits areelegant, oftenpowerful,thoroughbredand always perfectlybalanced.

Among the most famous vintages are: Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru La Combe d'Orveaux, Gevrey Chambertin Les Cazetiers, Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru and especially the Clos des Cortons Faiveley Grand Cru – a monopole of the house.
