Since 1885

Recognized as one of the greatest winemakers ofBurgundy,Henri Boillotis at the head of the estate founded by his grandfather inVolnayHe was born in 1885. It was in 1975 that he arrived at the estate, at that time run by his father, Jean. During this period, he climbed the ranks to become the estate's full-fledged winemaker. In 1995, he established his own wine merchant business. His meticulous attention to detail and uncompromising standards regarding grape quality have placed his white wines on par with the finest names of the Côte d'Or.

It has now been more than 13 years sinceHenri Boillotis supported by his sonGuillaumeto whom he communicated his philosophy and his affection for the land.

Fifth generation on the estate,Henri Boillotis at the head, with his sonGuillaume, of a 19-hectare vineyard in the most prestigious appellations of theCôte de Beaune.Henri Boillotand his son now form a balanced duo where the transmission of knowledge and the fruits of their exchanges contribute to the sustainability of the estate. They thus craft great wines, one of them white (Henry), the other in red (Guillaume).Henri BoillotHe now takes charge of the vinification of the white wines which he likes to be straightforward, taut, precise, pure and elegant.GuillaumeHe, for his part, is currently the head of viticulture and winemaker for the estate's red wines. Father and son are always striving for excellence, thus applying the fundamentals of vineyard work together, while adding a touch of modernity and boldness.

Since the 1990s, the estate has therefore decided to minimize interventions and the use of all inputs.
