A story spanning three generations
The domainCerettowas born in 1930.Riccardo Cerettothen markets wine from local producers. The quality ofLanghewhat was available then was not up to today's standards, that's whyRiccardo CerettoHe did not invest in this land. His sons, Bruno and Marcello, took over and decided to produce their own wines. They placed the importance of the terroir and the individual plot at the heart of their winemaking. The family established itself as a leading producer and a major player in the region. They opened two restaurants in Alba, including Piazza Duomo, which boasts two Michelin stars. They also built an artists' residence that hosts exhibitions, meetings, and performances by artists from all backgrounds. In 2020, Marcello celebrated his sixtieth harvest. Since their beginnings, the two brothers have climbed every rung of the ladder and now offer legendary wines, sought after by the most discerning connoisseurs of Italian wines.

Langhe and its wonders
From 1960 onwards,Bruno and MarcelloThey map the land and different plots. They draw inspiration from the work done in the Burgundy vineyards, which takes into account the specific characteristics of each vineyard. They highlight the plots producing the best wine and buy new vineyards. In this way, they settle in and take ownership of the exceptional terroirs ofBarbera d'Alba, Barolo and Barbaresco.
Bruno and Marcello are passing on to their children a beautiful, preserved terroir that rivals Burgundy, from which they drew their inspiration. Starting in 2015, the vineyard obtained certificationbiological. Environmental preservation quickly became central to the family's decisions, in a spirit of innovation.
