THE Château d'Issan is currently run by the Cruse family, who have successfully revitalized the domaine while respecting its heritage. Their commitment to quality and sustainability is palpable in every bottle produced. The owners have invested in modern winemaking techniques while preserving the traditions that have made it famous. Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château d'Issan is a meticulous process that aims to respect the quality of the grapes. The harvest is done by hand to select the best berries. After careful destemming, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for precise temperature control. Aging in oak barrels, some of which are new, lasts approximately 12 months. This process enriches the wine with complexity and structure, while preserving the authenticity of the terroir. Each step of the winemaking process is designed to reveal the elegance and depth of the Blason d’Issan.
