the story of Domaine Geantet-Pansiot

The Geantet-Pansiot Estate

“Being sober means drinking well.”

Domaine Geantet-Pansiot was established in 1954 by Edmond Geantet and Bernadette Pansiot. Initially, the arable vineyard covered a mere 3 hectares. In 1977, 17-year-old Vincent Geantet joined his father at the estate and quickly spearheaded its transformation, both in the vineyards and the winery. While the property does not claim to be organic, the current 22 hectares are cultivated using sustainable practices.

  • Each plot is carefully plowed,
  • Weed killers are banned.
  • Fermentation is carried out using indigenous yeasts,...

All this to best express the unique characteristics of the terroir. Vincent's true technical expertise has thus been rewarded with growing prestige. Today, his son Fabien is part of the team, and father and son work together in the winemaking process.
