A vineyard of great richness

In total, the Antinori family owns more than 1,000 hectares of vineyards in Italy. The vineyard ofSolaia(one of the most renowned in Italy) stretches across the hills ofDomaine TignanelloThere, the days are hot and the nights cool. This characteristic of the vineyard allows the family to produce an exceptional wine: Solaia. The vines are planted in soils derived from Pliocene marine marl, with limestone and schist. The grape varieties cultivated at the heart of the vineyard are theSangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.

Since the 1970s, the Tenuta Tignanello vineyard has been the subject of numerous experiments, including the introduction of new winemaking techniques. Innovations in vine density have resulted in more concentrated grapes, characterized by supple tannins.

Visually, it displays a ruby ​​red color with purplish highlights. On the nose, aromas of ripe red fruit emerge, along with notes of vanilla and smoke, creating a beautiful aromatic fusion. On the palate, the tannins are delicate, and the finish is long and clean.
