Gaillac

This Gaillac appellation, with its AOC and AOP designations, is one of the oldest in France. Located in the Toulouse wine region, its vineyards produce dry white wines made from the renowned Mauzac grape, and generous, full-bodied red wines with pronounced tannins. With its oceanic climate and clay-limestone, gravelly, and pebble soils, these wines come from an ancestral terroir in the southwest of France.
