The Beaux Frères vineyard stretches across hills overlooking the valley, enjoying ideal sun exposure. The soils, primarily composed of volcanic sediments, provide the vines with a rich mineral content, essential for the quality of the grapes. The vines are carefully tended and cultivated using environmentally friendly practices, preserving the natural balance of the terroir. climat The region's temperate climate, characterized by hot summers and cold winters, promotes optimal ripening of the grapes, thus guaranteeing wines of great complexity and beautiful freshness.

Owner and history

Founded in 1986 by Michael Etzel and his brother-in-law, the renowned wine critic Robert Parker Jr. (which inspired the name of the domaine). THE domaine Beaux Frères (located in Oregon, USA) belongs to Artémis Domaines, the Pinault family's wine holding company.

Vinification and aging

The winemaking process for Beaux Frères Belles Soeurs Pinot Noir 2021 is meticulous. The hand-harvested grapes are carefully sorted to retain only the finest. After gentle crushing, fermentation takes place in open vats, allowing for a gentle extraction of aromas and tannins. The wine is then aged in oak barrels, some of which are new, for 10 to 12 months. This aging process subtly integrates the oak notes and adds further complexity to the wine, while respecting the pure expression of the terroir.
