Owner and history

Bodegas Caro is the result of a collaboration between two iconic families in the world of wine: the Rothschilds (Lafite) and the Catena Zapatas. This unique alliance has combined Bordeaux expertise with Argentinian passion, giving rise to exceptional wines. The Rothschild and Catena Zapatas families share a common vision: to reveal the unique potential of the Argentinian terroir and to produce wines of impeccable quality. Their commitment to excellence and innovation is reflected in every bottle of Bodegas Caro.

Vinification and aging

Aruma's winemaking is carried out with the utmost care, respecting both tradition and modern techniques. The grapes are hand-harvested at optimal ripeness and then rigorously selected. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the aromas and freshness of the fruit. The aging process, the duration and methods of which are not disclosed, helps to refine the tannins and add complexity to the wine's aromatic profile.
