Owner and history

Fabien JOUVES comes from an old farming family in the Causse region. He became a winemaker in 2006 by creating Mas del Périé on the highest slopes of Cahors. Malbec (Cot) is the king of grape varieties there. Due to the location of the domaine At the crossroads of the Quercy hillside terroirs and those of Cahors, plot selection was the obvious choice to express the different facets of Malbec. This expression of terroir is enhanced by biodynamic farming practices that respect life, the vine, humankind, and the environment.

Vinification and aging

The winemaking process in the winery is done naturally, without oenological inputs, and the wine is accompanied until its maturity, in concrete tanks, barrels, casks and amphorae, according to its personality.
