Owner and history

Since 2014, Vasse Felix has been owned by Paul Holmes à Court, an Australian businessman with a passion for wine. He took over the domaine with the ambition to continue Tom Cullity's work and maintain Vasse Felix at the pinnacle of quality. He is committed to respecting the environment and promoting sustainable viticulture. He works closely with the team at domaine to continue producing exceptional wines that reflect the unique terroir of Margaret River.

Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Vasse Felix is carried out with meticulous attention to detail. The grapes are hand-harvested at optimal ripeness and then carefully sorted. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for the gentle extraction of aromas and tannins. Aging occurs in French oak barrels, a proportion of which are new, for an extended period. This stage refines the tannins and adds complexity to the wine's aromas. Bottling is performed with the utmost care to preserve the wine's integrity.
