THE domaine Vasse Felix is now owned by Paul Holmes à Court, who has taken up the family mantle with passion and determination. He is committed to perpetuating the legacy of Tom Cullity, the founder of the domaine, by producing wines of exceptional quality that express the richness and diversity of the Margaret River terroir. Paul Holmes à Court has invested heavily in the vineyards and winemaking facilities to further improve the quality of Vasse Felix wines and strengthen its leading position in the region.

Vinification and aging

The vinification of Vasse Felix Heytesbury Chardonnay is carried out with the utmost care to preserve the integrity of the aromas and the complexity of the terroir. The grapes are hand-harvested and then gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in French oak barrels, with the proportion of new oak varying from vintage to vintage. Aging on fine lees for several months adds texture and complexity to the wine. Particular attention is paid to each stage of the process to create an exceptional Chardonnay that reflects the elegance and finesse of the Margaret River terroir.
