Tasting notes

Capon with morels, Mont d'Or cheese with mushrooms, or smoked salmon would be perfect with this fine vintage. Best enjoyed at around 12°C.

Owner and history

Savagnin is a grape variety typical of the region. Here, it is planted on grey Lias marl and benefits from long periods of sunshine. The vines, averaging 25 years old, are cultivated biodynamically, with the utmost care for the terroir.

Vinification and aging

- Hand-harvested grapes
- vinification in large oak barrels (without new oak)
- Aged for 10 months in oak barrels (50 litres) and in casks, without new wood.
