    Owner and history

    Bernkasteler Lay is located near the estate, along the Moselle River. The soil is slate, on a gentle slope. The vineyard is on average 60 years old.

    Vinification and aging

    The grapes are harvested by hand, without botrytis. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and barrels.
    The wine is vinified without residual sugar.
