Owner and history

First planted in the 1880s, the Eisele vineyard is located in the northeast of the Napa Valley, Just east of Calistoga, at the foot of the Palisades Mountains. Cultivated organically since 1998 and biodynamically since 2000, the domaine has been primarily dedicated to Cabernet Sauvignon for fifty years. From the first vintage bearing the name Eisele in 1971, this iconic vineyard has been consistently recognized as possessing one of the greatest terroirs of the Napa Valley. The wines invariably express the exceptional depth, elegance and aging potential that characterize the Eisele vineyard.
