Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Cos d'Estournel This wine is the result of meticulous expertise. The harvest is done by hand, guaranteeing a rigorous selection of the finest grapes. After delicate destemming, the berries are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for a gentle extraction of tannins. Aging takes place in oak barrels, a third of which are renewed each year, for a period of 16 to 18 months.
