The vineyard of Château Lynch-Bages extends across gravelly hillocks of the Garonne, an exceptional terroir that gives the wines their typicity and elegance. These soils, composed of pebbles, gravel, and sand, ensure excellent drainage and promote optimal ripening of the grapes. climat The temperate oceanic climate, with hot summers and mild winters, also contributes to the quality of the harvest. Echo de Lynch-Bages benefits from the same meticulous care given to the vines as the Grand Vin, with particular attention paid to the selection of plots and yield control. Owner and history

The Cazes family is at the head of Château Lynch-Bages since 1939. Jean-Michel Cazes has left his mark on the history of domaine by modernizing the facilities and developing the reputation of the wines worldwide. Today, his son, Jean-Charles Cazes, carries on the family tradition with the same passion and commitment to excellence. The Cazes family also owns other prestigious estates, demonstrating its attachment to the Bordeaux terroir and its expertise in viticulture.

Vinification and aging

The winemaking process for Echo de Lynch-Bages is carried out with the same commitment to quality as that of the Grand Vin. The grapes are rigorously sorted before being destemmed and crushed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for precise temperature control and gentle extraction of aromas and tannins. Malolactic fermentation is then performed to soften the wines. Aging occurs in French oak barrels, a proportion of which are new, for a period tailored to the vintage's potential.
