Nestled in the heart of the Napa Valley, THE domaine Inglenook draws its roots from the rich soils of the Rutherford Bench, a land renowned for its exceptional terroir. This unique expanse, where the climat and the soil harmonize to give birth to grapes of unparalleled quality, is at the very heart of our heritage.

    Owner and history

The connection between the Coppola family and Inglenook is more than just a relationship of ownership; it is imbued with a deep personal resonance, born from the first bottle shared at a family meal. It is a story of rebirth and preservation, where Francis Ford Coppola's vision—to restore the legacy of the domaine — is fueled by the same passion and rigor that characterize his films. Every vine planted and every bottle produced in Inglenook is a chapter in the Coppola family history, a testament to their commitment to excellence and the art of winemaking. In Inglenook, the Coppolas do more than simply make wines; they cultivate a family heritage in harmony with the natural grandeur of the terroir.

    Vinification and aging

Produced since 1999 as a complement to Rubicon — Inglenook's flagship red wine — Blancaneaux is a blend of three white grape varieties from the Rhône Valley grown on the domaine.

Marsanne and Roussanne bring body and minerality, while Viognier imparts intense aromas of tropical fruits.

These grape varieties are grown on plots that benefit from full morning sun, but find themselves in the refreshing shade of Mount St. John from mid-afternoon onwards.
