Bordeaux 2025 thus establishes itself as a true “winemaker’s vintage”where every technical decision has a direct impact on the final quality.
An intense and balanced wine style
Initial tastings reveal wines of great intensity:

- Tannins are present but well-ripened
- Predominantly aromatic with notes of black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry)
- Lovely freshness despite the heat of the vintage
Cabernet Sauvignon is particularly distinguished by its maturity and structure, especially on the Left BankMerlot, more sensitive to water stress, exhibits greater heterogeneity depending on the terroir. Cabernet Franc, on the other hand, brings freshness and complexity, particularly to the Right Bank.
The dry white wines are a great success, with precise and vibrant aromatic profiles. In Sauternes, the conditions allowed for a homogeneous development of botrytis, resulting in rich and balanced wines.
