Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Margaux is a meticulous process, combining tradition and modern technology. The grapes are carefully hand-sorted before being destemmed and crushed. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks, allowing for precise temperature control. Aging occurs in oak barrels, approximately 30% of which are new, for 18 months. This aging period allows the tannins to soften and the aromas to develop complexity. At each stage, the team at domaine strives to preserve the identity of the wine, thus reflecting the richness of the terroir of Margaux.

The team's opinion

A more structured vintage, with aromas of ripe black fruit, sweet spices, and blond tobacco. The palate is dense, supported by firm but well-integrated tannins, with interesting aging potential.
