Vinification and aging

The winemaking process Clos The 2024 Maladière is crafted according to Burgundian traditions. The grapes are harvested by hand, then destemmed and gently crushed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, preserving the freshness and aromas of the fruit. Aging for several months in oak barrels, some of which are new, adds further complexity to the wine. This meticulous process achieves a perfect balance between fruit and oak, giving the wine a beautiful depth.
