    Owner and history

    The Premier Cru Genevières vineyards are located in the heart of the Meursault hillside, on clay-limestone soil with a subsoil composed of rocky scree, lava flows, or bedrock. The vines face south-southeast at an altitude of 250 to 275 meters. The vines are between 20 and 55 years old.

    Vinification and aging

    The grapes are harvested by hand. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations take place in barrels, and the musts also age in barrels after settling (25 to 30% new barrels) for approximately 12 months.
